We fabricate them in Procural and Aluprof aluminium systems, from economical EI30 office partitions to EI120 screens with glazing up to 73 mm, and we integrate fire rated doors into the same wall.

30, 60, 90 and 120 minute fire rated screens
Procural PE78EI partitions are available in EI30, EI60 and EI90, with smoke control class Sa/S200 on the doors. PE78EI Design Line goes up to EI120 with an 89 mm frame, glazing up to 73 mm and heights up to 4 m. Aluprof MB-118EI is a five-chamber 118 mm system for EI120 walls.
For interior EI30 partitions on a budget, Aluprof MB-60E EI is an economical choice with smoke control S200/Sa3 and self-closing EI30 doors. Aluprof MB-78EI covers EI15 to EI90 with single and double leaf doors and sound insulation up to 41 dB.
Frameless look: seamless EI30 and EI60 glass partitions
Procural PE78EI seamless partitions replace vertical frames with 4 mm joints between the glass panes, for an almost frameless glass wall. Maximum pane sizes are 1800 × 3600 mm for EI30 and 1760 × 3520 mm for EI60.
Tested systems, not just fire rated glass
Fire resistant glass alone does not make a fire rated partition. The classification to EN 13501-2 covers the whole construction: profiles, glass, gaskets, fixings and the connection to the building. We fabricate every screen to the tested configuration and supply the classification documents with the delivery.
Where fire rated glazed partitions are used
Typical applications are corridor walls in schools and hospitals, stairwell enclosures, lobby screens, office fronts on escape routes and atriums. Screens can be combined with acoustic glass and with our standard office glass partitions on the same floor.

What is a fire rated glazed screen?
It is a glazed wall made of a tested frame system and fire resistant glass that keeps its integrity (E) and insulation (I) for a set time, for example 30, 60 or 120 minutes, classified to EN 13501-2.
How high can a fire rated glass partition be?
It depends on the system and fire class. PE78EI Design Line reaches 4 m, and seamless EI30 panes go up to 3600 mm high. We confirm the limits for your heights at the quotation stage.
Can fire doors be built into the partition?
Yes. PE78EI, MB-78EI and MB-60E EI all include matching single and double leaf fire doors, so the wall and the doors are one tested system.
