Apartment blocks, hotels and office buildings often need glass protection at full-height windows and weather protection on balconies. Finestra Solution manufactures and supplies these supplementary aluminium systems from our production in Liepāja, Latvia, so they can be delivered together with the windows and facade.
The range covers Procural FB51 Juliet balconies and Procural BL18 sliding balcony glazing.
Procural FB51 Juliet balconies
A Juliet balcony, also called a French balcony, is a glass guard fixed in front of a full-height opening window. It lets the window open fully while keeping people safe. Procural FB51 is designed for windows and for PF152 facades and takes glass from ESG55.4 to ESG1010.4.
Required guard heights and loads are set nationally, so check the national requirement for your building.
Procural BL18 sliding balcony glazing
Procural BL18 is a sliding balcony enclosure system with 2 to 5 tracks. It protects balconies against wind and rain and makes them usable for more of the year, which is a common upgrade in new and renovated apartment buildings.
Because FB51 is designed for Procural PF152 facades and windows, Juliet balconies and balcony glazing can be ordered together with the rest of the building envelope. Send drawings for a free project consultation; we reply within 1–2 working days.

Frequently asked questions about Juliet balconies and balcony glazing
What is the difference between a Juliet balcony and a French balcony?
In practice they are the same: a guard, usually glass, in front of a full-height opening window without a walk-out platform. Procural FB51 is our system for this.
Which glass does the FB51 Juliet balcony use?
Procural FB51 takes glass from ESG55.4 to ESG1010.4. The right glass depends on size and the national load requirement.
How much does balcony glazing cost for an apartment building?
The price depends on the number and size of balconies, the number of tracks and the glass type. Send drawings and we will reply with a quote within 1–2 working days.
