Lift and slide doors
Lift and slide doors lift the sash off its seals before it slides, so very large and heavy panels move easily and seal tightly when closed. Aluprof MB-82HS reaches Uw from 0.60 W/(m²K) with panels up to 3.24 × 3.3 m and 600 kg, MB-77HS offers Uw from 0.84 W/(m²K), and Procural SL1600TT HI adds RC2 security with leaf weights up to 400 kg.
Panoramic sliding doors with minimal frames
For maximum glass, Aluprof MB-SKYLINE TYPE S has a 25 mm central mullion and panels up to 750 kg, while MB-SKYLINE TYPE R hides the profiles completely and handles sashes up to 1200 kg and 4 m height. Procural SL2000 Greatvision combines a 26 mm central mullion with Uw 0.89 W/(m²K) and leaf weights up to 700 kg.
Automatic sliding doors for commercial entrances
Aluprof MB-DPA is available as automatic or manual sliding doors, in thermally insulated and non-insulated versions, with leaf widths up to 3.0 m and weights up to 200 kg, for shop, office and public building entrances. Where an entrance is also part of a fire compartment, MB-78EI DPA automatic fire-rated sliding doors are in our fire-resistant systems range.

Pocket, folding and balcony sliding systems
MB-59 SLIDE GALANDAGE hides the open sash completely in the wall. MB-86 FOLD LINE HD and Procural PE78 FOLD provide folding doors that open whole walls. For balconies and loggias, Procural SL600TT EVO and SL680LT, and the frameless MB-OpenSlide for terraces and pergolas, cover glazing where full thermal performance is not required.

Sliding doors FAQ
What is the difference between lift and slide and standard sliding doors?
A lift and slide door raises the sash off its seals before sliding and lowers it onto them when closed. That allows much heavier panels and tighter sealing than a standard sliding door, which runs permanently on its rollers.
How large can an aluminium sliding door be?
It depends on the system. Aluprof MB-82HS takes panels up to 3.24 × 3.3 m and 600 kg, and MB-SKYLINE TYPE R handles sashes up to 1200 kg and 4 m high.
Are automatic sliding doors suitable for escape routes?
They can be, if the door system and its operator meet the national requirements for escape routes in that building. Tell us the door's role in the fire and escape strategy and we will propose a suitable configuration.
How much do lift and slide doors cost?
