Insulated bi-fold door for fully opening glass walls

Schüco ASS 70 FD is a thermally insulated aluminium bi-fold system that lets a glass wall open across almost its full width. It works well for restaurants, cafés, hotel terraces and retail frontages where indoor space needs to open to the outside. Vents can be up to 1500 mm wide, 3000 mm high and 150 kg, and the overall unit can reach 16.8 m. The vent stack folds to the left or right, inwards or outwards, with vent loads carried to the sill by roller carriages. Tested performance includes watertightness 9A, air permeability class 4, wind load C3/B3 and sound reduction up to 44 dB. A 90° corner and a flat, thermally insulated barrier-free threshold are available.
