Accessible windows and doors with a fully level threshold

Schüco AWS barrier-free solutions make it possible to fit accessible windows, balcony doors and patio doors throughout a building, which suits care homes, hotels, schools and multi-residential projects. The zero threshold is completely level and achieves class 6, the top rating under ift guideline BA-01/1 for threshold roll-over. Two sealing levels give watertightness class 9A for single-leaf and 7A for double-leaf doors, and the threshold connects to standard drainage with a non-return valve. Operating forces can meet DIN 18040-2 (max. 30 N in the tilt position and 5 Nm at the handle), in some designs even without comfort components. Comfort fittings are available for 70, 75 and 90 mm system depths, including AWS 70.HI, AWS 75.SI+ and AWS 90.SI+.
