Semi-structural stick/mullion curtain wall system

The MB-SR50N EFEKT system is designed for the construction of lightweight curtain walls in both suspended and infill-type construction, as well as for roofs, skylights and other spatial structures. Its load-bearing structure is based on the modern and proven aluminum stick and mullion system MB-SR50N, which offers a wide range of profiles and enables achieving a uniform external appearance with a smooth glass surface divided by vertical and horizontal 2 cm lines. Glass field joints in the façade are filled with a special silicone sealant that ensures high structural sealing and improves its insulation properties. The system offers extensive glazing options, including single-chamber or double-chamber insulating glass units, opaque panels, as well as glass units with laminated glass with a load capacity of up to 450 kg. The system is recommended by three leading silicone suppliers – Dow Corning, Sika and Tremco-Ilbruck – guaranteeing the durability and sealing of the structure.
