Thermally insulated sliding doors and windows

The MB-Slide and MB-Slide ST systems are designed for the construction of thermally insulated sliding doors and windows that can be installed in brick walls, aluminum facades, winter gardens or display window constructions, based on MB-59S or MB-59S Casement elements. Sliding doors, especially in large sizes, visually expand living spaces by connecting them to an external terrace or garden. Plastic thermal breaks provide appropriate thermal insulation of the aluminum profiles, while sliding brush seals or thermoplastic elastomer TPE seals together with EPDM closure and glazing seals ensure high structural airtightness. The main difference between MB-Slide and MB-Slide ST systems lies in the sash profile design as well as in the manufacturing and glazing technology – MB-Slide profiles feature a 3-chamber design with 45° cut, while MB-Slide ST profiles feature a single-chamber design with screw connection. Both sliding door systems are mutually compatible and largely compatible with other systems manufactured by Aluprof SA.
