Fixed or motorised aluminium louvre blades for facades

Schüco ALB (Aluminium Louvre Blades) is a large-louvre sun shading system for offices, schools and other commercial buildings with extensive glazing. It offers hollow blades (105–470 mm), rectangular blades (250–400 mm) and parallelogram blades, mounted horizontally, vertically or cantilevered in front of Schüco windows and facades. Passive versions have fixed blades, while active versions track the sun using a linear drive or a drive concealed in the mullion, which lets hollow blades rotate through 360°. Active systems run on a 230 V drive with KNX control and timer automation, and the blades are unaffected by wind. The result is less overheating, better use of daylight and a distinctive facade pattern. Surfaces can be RAL powder coated, anodised or wet painted.
