AWS 70 FR 30-CE is a Schüco aluminium window system with a 70 mm basic depth that combines everyday window performance with 30 minutes of fire resistance. In a fire, a self-closing locking mechanism shuts the vent and limits the spread of flames. The system meets classes EI30 and EW30, is tested to EN 1364, EN 1634 and EN 16034, and its CE marking allows use across Europe. The window can be installed in Schüco fire-resistant facades or as a stand-alone unit in concrete and masonry walls. Concealed fittings and window closers with or without a hold-open catch round off good thermal, weather and acoustic performance.
