Highly insulated steel door for secure public buildings

Schüco Janisol HI is a highly insulated steel profile system for multifunctional single and double doors in buildings with high security demands, such as airports, hospitals, schools, sports venues and shopping centres. Insulating bars made of glass-fibre-reinforced PVC-U give the 80 mm leaves a frame Uf value from 1.5 W/(m²·K) and allow triple glazing from 24 to 57 mm. The system is tested to air permeability class 4, watertightness class 6A, wind load class C4, mechanical strength class 4 and 1,000,000 cycles under EN 12400. Double doors can be supplied with full panic function, and burglar resistance reaches RC3. Clear openings up to 2800 × 3000 mm and leaf weights up to 280 kg are possible.
