About the project
The new building of the Kurzeme Rehabilitation Centre in Latvia is located in a grove of pine trees. Its architecture is designed so that patients perceive it not as a hospital but as a human-friendly place with a cozy atmosphere, enhanced by individual artistic solutions in the large window areas. Finestra Solution's glass production contributed to the project with glazing for facade systems, fire-rated constructions, window systems and door systems. Fire-rated glazing and aluminium facade systems are key elements in healthcare buildings, where daylight and safety requirements go hand in hand.
